A MONAREX GENERAL UPDATE
COUNTDOWN TO THE 2008 OLYMPICS...
On December 9th Monarex acquired the services of skilled editor, Mark Grabianowski, to compile eight 120 to 150 second shorts that will air the first of every month until August 2008. The footage will be pulled from the Award-Winning Mysterious China series.
These eight shorts are a tribute to the 2008 Beijing Olympics and will be released on multiple video-sharing platforms. Chinese media is covering the development of the shorts and will announce the debut January 1st. Monarex has started a blog:
The purpose is two-fold. First and foremost, the blog
is a concrete recording of the many intriguing and well-rounded
thoughts that Chris has on a daily basis. Second is to create some
noise for
Monarex. Chris' blog is for intellectuals and those
who wish to see the big picture. It is our hope that quality writing
will attract like minds.
Chris will typically post one new topic every 2-4 weeks and allow for
comments to be posted by any reader around the world. It may
take some time
before a following is built, but Monarex has a trick up its sleeve...

MYSTERIOUS CHINA
TRILOGY
released to DVD

Look for the TRILOGY in stores near you. It is also being sold through
DISCOVERY CHANNEL'S website and catalog, AMAZON, BORDERS, AMOEBA,
and on eBay, should you enjoy bartering. The description follows:
The multi-award-winning MYSTERIOUS CHINA Trilogy explores the remote Western
Region of modern China, taking armchair adventurers along the legendary
Silk Road and the ancient Tea Road.
From Shangri-La to the Roof of the World, where few have ventured since
the days of Alexander the Great, Marco Polo and Genghis Khan's Mongol warriors,
5000 years of Chinese culture is unveiled on this fascinating journey.
Time honored divine rituals and carnal sacrifices are revealed. The sacred
Tibetan harmony of mankind and nature is magically captured and narrated.
Even today China remains an enignma. The diversity of its many minorities,
which have survived for thousands of years in the majestic, vast and rugged
Western Region, is a vivid reminder of modern China's epic cultural heritage.
It remains to be seen if it will survive the onslaught of the 21st Century.
News Update: September 2007 CHRIS D. NEBE IS BACK FROM CHINA
Chris left for China May 22nd and made stops in Beijing, Xining, and Urumqi (Northwestern
China), where "Silk Road Melodies" is being shot. The shoot, while difficult, is set to be
one of Chris's most creative pictures yet and undoubtedly one of the first of it's kind to
hit the western markets.
Shot in high-definition, "Melodies" will bring the stunning and raw beauty of one of the most
seductively-remote areas of China together with extremely talented dancers, contortionists
and musicians. The visual and auditory stimulation will make for an intense emotional journey
that few feature-length documentaries have achieved.
CHINESE REAL ESTATE and PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT
In addition to the making of "Silk Road Melodies", Chris is also using his government contacts
to create attractive real-estate projects for Western investors who would like to reach
unsaturated areas of western China, boasting incredible tourism booms over the past five years.
The unprecedented increase in China's spending power has led to astounding swells in tourism
from both domestic and foreign travelers. Many of the world's wealthiest and most influential
people make it a priority to visit remote areas that have an untouched beauty impossible to
find elsewhere.
Monarex facilitates the extremely difficult and complex process of working through the bureaucracy
that shrouds private-investment in China. Should you or the company you represent have a serious
interest in expanding in any way to China, contact Monarex for further information.
